Does Shazon track my purchases?

Our servers store the "unique id" of your phone each time you use Shazon. We use that information to see overall trends. For example, we could tell that most people use Shazon on Sunday afternoon. But we can't relate that information to the specific purchases you make, and we don't collect or store any personal information about you.

Keep in mind that the unique id we use is different than your phone number; the Shazon application does not have access to your phone number or email address.

If you are still worried about Shazon knowing personal information about you, we have a Privacy Setting that controls when Shazon sends the unique id to our servers. If you check the "anonymous" preference, then Shazon will not send it when it searches for a price.
